Electronic Glow Control Units refer to Glow Plug Relays (GR) and Glow Plugs Control Units (GSE), the latter being best known as ISS (Instant Start System).

Instant Start System (ISS)


The ISS glow system consists of an electronic glow plug control unit and a power-optimised glow plug. The combination of the two parts works in a way to resemble the petrol engine, with a stable idling, a clean accelerator-pedal response and low emissions, that are ensured even at temperatures as low as -25 °C.
